We had read about the single, almost secretive, door that would lead us into a lovely, understated but smart, dining area where we enjoyed a fabulous meal from the young and passionate chef, Simon Tarlington. Highline’s seasonal menu is described as a ‘Paddock to Plate Degustation Journey’ however they also offer ‘The Paddock to Plate a La Carte’. They have an extensive and interesting wine list put together by their sommelier Eric who looked after us during the evening. I have already been recommending The Railway Hotel to friends, not just the restaurant but the great modern main bar and deck area that has views of the city skyline. All up a great place to visit!
