A wonderful, unpretentious, fine dining experience presented by restaurant manager Gitana and a very talented team of chefs who proudly deliver every dish to the table with an explanation of each element .. a nice, friendly and personal touch. As in past visits, our dining adventure was faultless and a credit to the entire team under the leadership of Chef/Owner Clinton McIver, whom I first met back in 2014 at the Clayton Bowls Club. A former chef at Vue De Monde, Clinton and his partner Ali took over Champions Bistro an experience that will remain in the memory bank! In 2015 he realised an ambition and opened his excellent restaurant, Amaru.
