A specialty coffee and Italian eatery, Bottarga, which opened in early November, is a welcome addition to the Martin Street, Brighton strip. Front of house and barista, Somi, and chef Federico start early morning to catch the caffeine & croissant craving folk as they pass by and then ease into their lunch and later, dinner menu. They have an interesting wine list, if not a little pricey, especially by the glass, curated by their sommelier. We opted for their ‘Express’ lunch menu and enjoyed our tasty house-made pasta also cannoli. We will definitely return to try more from their modest menu.
