The Malvern Hotel has a nice fit-out, is bright and modern and interestingly has history in one of the tables that was the original cellar door. We enjoyed our choice of dishes, especially the Moreton Bay Bug risotto. Having viewed their menu online, the risotto was actually the reason we chose to dine there! Service was disappointing as there was a distinct lack of enthusiasm from one of the wait staff and the audible response from another, dealing with a difficult patron, was not only unacceptable but highly unprofessional.
