Reine & La Rue

Built in 1890, and designed by Melbourne architect, William Pitt, the ornate Neo-Gothic style Cathedral Room in the former Melbourne Stock Exchange is home to Reine & La Rue. Heritage listed, the former trading floor area features majestic granite columns, magnificent stained glass windows and massive soaring point arches. It’s grand and it’s opulent. We enjoyed an amazing dining experience that was faultless. Gothic architecture as a backdrop, highly professional and friendly staff, fabulous, unpretentious French fare, background music at an appropriate volume, very comfortable seating in a relaxed atmosphere.
