One thing that struck me, almost as soon as I walked in the door, was the friendly staff. Naturally, a very different fit-out to its predecessor, Number 8 by John Lawson, Long Chim is a smart Thai restaurant located on the riverside promenade at Crown. We chose their $45 Lunch, Maa Long Chim plus a couple of extras and were fortunate to have Choky look after us. He, in my opinion, is right up there as one of the best wait staff I’ve come across in the many restaurants I have visited.
