Kaynam Restaurant in Carnegie specialises in the cuisine of the Uyghur ethnic minority from the Xinjiang Region in Northwest China, who are predominantly Muslim. Uyghur restaurants are halal, and lamb is the base of many dishes. There is an extensive menu at Kaynam and many dishes, as expected, feature lamb which is an absolute favourite of mine. We chose a lamb and a chicken dish and both were generous servings, delicious and great value.
