Having read quite a few good reviews of Favourite Kitchen we had high expectations. Unfortunately, neither the so-called ‘friendly’ service nor the food was especially impressive. Okay, so the food was fine however nothing special. Despite the size of the restaurant, they don’t offer trolley service for their yum cha offerings (perhaps they do so on the weekend). We ordered off a tick the box menu and were surprised to receive spring rolls and a dish of Chinese broccoli first off. Sometime later all the steamed dishes arrived at once. This was not ideal as obviously, as some were lukewarm before we had a chance to eat them.
