A trek out to my old stomping ground to try ‘the best lamprais in Melbourne’ according to SBS Food who published an article on this Dutch Burghur dish that Anoma Dassanayake and daughter Dinithi create in their café in Scoresby Village. As I have not previously eaten this Sri Lankan dish, I have nothing to compare it to, however, all I can say is, the taste sensation wrapped in banana leaf contained an absolute treat of flavours.
